As you all know, there have been multiple DUI fatalities in recent months. I personally witnessed the crash that killed Murrieta resident Joan Lehmer on Winchester Rd near Auld on September 6, 2017 at 10:30 am.
The DUI Community Meeting is for our whole valley! Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Winchester, Hemet, Lake Elsinore, San Jacinto, and everyone else. Please join us!
The outrage is rising as more and more deaths occur, and it’s time to change the laws, ask for more enforcement, brainstorm, and set an action plan.
We are having a Panel Discussion. Representatives from law enforcement, District Attorney’s office, and State officials will be on the panel.
District Attorney Matt Strickroth will be in attendance to review the current laws, and share his input from his experience in prosecuting these cases, what changes would be most effective.
In addition, our local State Assembly Representatives and other will be in attendance to help us know what we as a community can do to get momentum in changing laws.
